Referrals

To expedite effective communication and bed management of patients requiring admission to Auckland City Hospital, please follow the process outlined below.

1. Contact on-call Registrar at Auckland City Hospital
    

2. Ensure a referral letter is done, including all relevant details of patient’s condition.
    

3. Please notify the Acute Referral Service (ARS) at Auckland City Hospital of patient’s details  either by calling (09) 3757030 and faxing the referral to (09) 3072858
    

4. Please make sure the service accepting the patient is clearly documented.
